One of the most special sights in Hôi An are the colourful lanterns that are lit up at night. You can release lotus flower lanterns on the Hoai river. Vietnamese people believe that lighting on and floating those lanterns on the river can bring them health and happiness. You can hire a small wooden boat, light a candle and place it on the romantic river and make a wish.
