Thingvellir is a national park in Iceland, it lies in a rift valley and is the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. It was also the site of original national parliament of Iceland established in 930 AD. It is a land of natural rugged beauty and a World Heritage Site. Some scenes from Game of Thrones with the great wall were filmed here.
