Myanmar is a beautiful country with a complex history. Steeped in tradition, Buddhism is more a way of life than a religion in this country. This multi-layered image of boats on a lake filled with water hyacinths on Taungthamen Lake in Myanamar. In the background you can see the children and monks crossing the U bein bridge. This is an everyday route from home to school or from temple to village, crossing the longest teak bridge in the world.
