The Old Red Lion was founded in 1415, you can see the large letters on the top of the building which says it was ‘established in 1415’, making this pub one of the oldest in London.

In 1979, the upstairs of the Old Red Lion was converted from a boxing ring into a theatre space and the Old Red Lion Theatre was founded by Charlie Higgins. In its 35 years, the theatre has hosted over 1000 different productions and live performance events. Many now famous names have performed there.

The Old Red Lion gained the nickname, the “in and out” as it has a front and back entrance, so some taxi customers dodged fares by running through the front and out of the rear exit!

Signed and numbered on the front at the bottom.

Orders are carefully wrapped, rolled into a strong tube and despatched by Royal Mail Special next day delivery signed and tracked within three days, usually quicker.
